Beautiful Undiscovered France @ A Great Price. We have put this blog together as we were getting rather frustrated with the lack of web space details of this wonderful region of france, where the brits can still bag a bargain without having to go further south to other areas. This blog is for pictures and personal discovery over the coming months since buying a 'cheap as chips' property there. $$$$Go To READ FIRST Article in The Archive to set the scene$$$$.

a few more pics from 08 including kittens born in the garden

Thought i would just put a pile of pics up that made us feel good about our last trip, including lake geneva not being as far as we thought.

long time no anything

sorry its been such a long time since weve blogged.
Well, this is the new wall come flood defense due to global warming hitting our little village if cemboing much to everyones surprise. Due to a local official charged with the responsibility for unblocking drains and river routes...... forgetting!!!
Still some piece of mind, a little bit of england, you know the bit, the defualt english thing trying to build something between you and your neighbours. I guess we will have to miss out on the lovely old lady who takes her cat for walks on a lead along our window cills.
Being a corner house, the flood decided the shortest route was through our barn. Well not any more bucko!! Our local Pizza man further along came off worst i think. It was bad enough to rip the tarmac off the roads..... pretty hectic eh! dont know if mr drain prodder got the sack or not? probably the mayors son. And yes - before you comment, the wall IS as curved as a librarians bottom, i thought id follow the natural curve of the path.... well i like it anyways. nothing else in the village is straight.
